If you don’t carry a spare what do you do

Sorry, I was referring to the weight of the wheel/tyre coming off of my overall payload. We currently have just under 300Kg free capacity when fully laden for travelling so it's not too much of a burden for us to lug it around the countryside.
I'm in the same gang.
Even if I had the spare payload I would have been carrying a spare wheel and tyre for over eleven years and for over a 100k miles for nothing.

Last puncture I had in my car I had a spare, but couldn‘t get the wheel off. Being alloy it was bonded to the hub, so still ended up having to get assistance.

61 years ago 4 of us travelled to Scotland in a Bedford Dormobile,,had 9 punctures in 10 days,, Think we had cords showing on a couple of tyres when we set off,,,Got good at wheel changing though.BUSBY.
Did you tow a trailer with multiple spares ? 😝

Was back in the days before Specialist tyre dealers,,got them mended at roadside garages..Last flat we got was on a Sunday and our spare was also flat..Knocked a garage up in Papplewick Notts and he lent us a wheel with a tyre on it to get us home..Took it back next day with a packet of Senior Service as a thank you..Different times.BUSBY.
