Hi all,

Apologies if this is not PC, but is it an annoyance if Newbies ask for advice on valuations of motorhomes?

I've seen one local that could do the job, but am absolutely clueless at the worth of them..:(

I won't say what it is until the idea is given the thumbs up...(y)

Hi guys,

Sorry to bother you all 'again'.....

What price would you expect to give for this:

'F' reg, 64K on the clock, 6 berth and 6 seat belts, no damp or rust.

£4-6k - depends on all the usual..........................

Market values I check on ebay - search selling now and 'completed listings' for MHs and put price range in £4-8k - you might even find this van there

Cheers BB (y)

Its for sale at 6500, so just wanting to make sure. It seems OK this one, albeit it's an 'F'...

If you are happy with it, make an offer! Remember that the asking price is just that ;)

It certainly seems to be in good order, but I'd want an expert engineer habitation check done first.

I really didn't want to go older than an 'H' but everything i've seen until this one has had damp issues of some description...:(

Don't make an offer before viewing - or ask "what will you take"

It is an 'F' but at that age it's all about condition - and it does have the seat belts

Spend enough time checking it over before making an offer - if it's OK and you want it I'd offer £5k - you can always go up - not down

The last van I bought I would have paid the asking price - if pushed............got it for slightly less - helped pay for the power steering

Good luck(y)

Thats the first thing I'd need to get done as well BB - power steering that is.

My only problem is our location, we aren't going to get to see it before agreeing a deal, so would have to run with an expert's opinion. The layout is exactly what I want and the mileage isn't that bad for the age.

5 was my first thought as well (y)

Got me thinking - 'F' reg -

I'm sure we have school buses round here older than that - with no seat belts !
