I wonder why we get a bad name?

There are better free parking places for PVCs in Clevedon, although without a sea view. My guess is he drove past and ignored them because it would be all of a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Lazy selfish git.
Only it looks to me rather like a blue badge in the window. 5 minutes for an able bodied person maybe near impossible for someone with mobility issues.

This is what gives us a bad name, this twat taking up five spaces in Bourton on the Water.

Shortly after this the overnight stops were banned. View attachment 652074
But maybe he had paid for all the spaces he used?
Looks like four to me,but it makes no difference .

Podney , There was a £3 'donation' to stay overnight, I would have loved someone to park in the 5th spot in front of him, preventing him from getting out.

Seems like there's plenty of spaces to park bet the car park is almost empty
A clearer full view of the car park would
Help.

I don't see a problem to be honest what gives motorhomers a bad name is posted on social media looking for problem's.
Most of thes post are made by motorhomers not the general road users
Just looking for sumthing to gosupe about.
I am sure thers more interesting things in life.
Bill
👍😁

You may have better eyesight than me. Clevedon is generally hilly not level, so a bit of a challenge for anyone with significant mobility issues. They would be better off visiting somewhere flatter like Weston-S-M.

Weston is often gridlocked during high season so I avoid going there and prefer Clevedon!

I agree I don't know why motorhomers are always having a go at other motorhome/camper owners for supposedly giving them a bad name.

Do they do the same in their cars or on a bike etc??

I think I prefer vanlifers and folk in old clapped out vans to be honest....they tend not to complain about everything

Exactly and we’ll said fella and people moaning about children and dogs. Funny really as this time of year is school holiday’s so me thinking 🤔 there will be lots of children. And the point on dogs well I’m a dog owner and really can’t answer that without been banned on site. To all the moaners I suggest you all go off grid so you can park up away from noisy children and barking dogs my view get a life lol and life is short happy Travels

Weston is not great for van parking, and it’s not cheap to park…..but don’t let that stop you coming. (y)

Highly recommended camping site at Uphill Wharf, with a flat walk along Uphill beach or the road into Weston itself.

Don't tell them that lol ...I never use sites and only ever park up off grid...I usually park well away from anyone else so I can play my music , my dogs can get peace etc ...yet I seem to always get folk come park next to me . And then they most likely sit moaning about music or dogs. 🤷‍♂️

Talking of which, how is the old clapped-out boat coming along?

On that subject my old boat which needed a lot of Tlc, and got it from the very good friend who is very skilled on boats, was re-launched yesterday looking in very good shape.

One of the things i realy dislike is when someone opens a cold beer when im at work( apart from dogs, cats, kids, caravans, stick insects, the moon , grass amongst other things)

It's a small carpark at the back of the British Legion building that tolerated smaller mohos, but no longer, due to people taking the pee, like the van in the picture.

Sorry, let me know when you’ve finished……..then I’ll tell you how many cold beers I’ve drunk whilst you’ve been grafting. 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

Wouldnt have the twin axle but up to
If that sort of vehicle pleases you, definitely not for me though.
Wouldn’t have twin axle but up to 8 mtrs is fine

Parked up with the dog and kids, dog happily barking, kids screaming in excitement on their escooters as swimbo fills the pool from our banned hose. Got the genny running along with the engine. Music on loud, lots of other people here are giving me v for victory signs, cannot hear then in my awning as I drink from my case of lager waiting for my three disposal bbqs to get hot so I can cook my budget sausages and bits of other stuff.

Heaven
Ps can see a bonfire thing here on dartmoor, might visit later to see if there are any fireworks 🎆
