I see that Brent crude is down to under one pound a barrel, can we look forward to lower prices at the pumps.

Local competition forces.
I doubt it as the cheaper Tesco only has one other ps in town which is around £1.97 so if it was competition they would reduce their price in Dumfries to match the independent.

Local independent has dropped petrol to £1.79 and diesel to £1.83 while local tesco is £1.88 and £1.97, if you drive 14 miles to the next Tesco its £1.81 and £1.88 how does that work

We were still at £1.87 for unleaded £1.94 for diesel this week - cheapest I could find locally (Asda).

I would like to know why the massive Sainsburys near us removed its massive digital fuel price board recently, now you have to drive in and up to the pumps to see the prices, has anybody else noticed their Sainsburys branch doing the same?
I hope its not because it ran out of digit spaces to show future prices.;) I must ask next year when we fill up the runabout.:giggle:

LES
I thought that there was a legal requirement to show the price outside the garage.

You are not going to sell people on the idea of electric vehicles if petrol and diesel prices are cheap !!!
Don’t Electric Mo-Ho coming anytime soon… cheaper the better I say!

In our neck of the woods it seemed to be £195.9 yesterday. Before we went away for a week it was £199.9, so it's come down a bit here in sunny Yorkshire.

Still far too high and they're all conning is.

Or is it when they filled their tanks and the price at the time.?
