Got a family emergency and a funeral to go to other end of UK ,, so
start up van , refill water tank , start boiler , open gas valves ,, cooker and Truma ok but Gas fridge not starting even though its all new parts recently , maybe new gas valve is too cold ???

Water pump also not working so no water flowing ,, I have all the heaters on ,,

do you think if I warm things up it will all work ,, I really have to get away today ????

Well worth knowing where the water pump is in case there's a problem in the future. We had one of those little clear bowls split with frost except it was almost opaque from the plastic ageing

Always worth carrying a spare.

We are at the destination ,, funeral is tommorow and visting hospital and friends today ,

I found the water pump its inside the main warderobe locker ? its a sureflo with the little perpex filter bowl ,, if its leaking there i can tell water is still pulsing from taps and in the Truma i can hear it burbling been like that for 24 hours now ,,, van is warm and toasty on heating .....

I would suspect that one of the push together pipe connectors has been pushed apart by frost, often on a 90 degree bend, keep an eye out for underneath leak.

Good luck! 🤞

Adrian's are notorious for that with the Reich water pipe fittings. It's worth changing the fittings for JG ones.

I think I have found the air leak its the plexiglass filter on the sureflo water pump there are NO leaks anywhere alse in the system that i can see ,, but I can see the clear filter struggling pulling water from the tank and bubbles in it , although its not actually leaking water .. I will order a new one .... and see if that cures the problem

Just try giving it a push towards the pump, often they are just a push fit. 👍

There is a crack in the plexiglass filter i have it on the table , fill it with water and it leaks out so Andy Landy was spot on .... will be picking one up tommorow hopefully in Worthing
You could probably stick a bit of tape on the crack until the new one arrives if you need it sooner.

I have supeglued along the crack and sealed it with Insulting tape im letting it dry and will see if it works as a temporary bodge ,,,,, still getting a new one but nothing to lose giving it a go .

If it works you can always put it in your spares box in the knowledge that you will never need it!

Exactly as I said. It’s a very common issue and only shows as it is sucking air in rather than leaking water. You can by complete assembly and just swap bowl over if required.

If that fails, try disposing of the filter altogether as some can be connected directly onto the pump.

Got the new filter seems to have solved the water pump issue ,,,,,gas fridge is now working too but it took 19 attempts to get the burner to stay on for more than 30seconds eventually it lit and is now staying on ???? frustrating and bad for my anger tbh seeing as all the burner vitals and gas valve are new and all serviced and clean ?????

On our last two vans after the gas had been turned off for any length of time the system had to be "purged".

Usually this meant lighting all hob burners (sometimes took a while for the gas to come through) and leaving them lit for two or three minutes.

After that appliances downstream of the hob could be brought into play but each would require waiting for the gas to come through and then leaving the appliance on full for a while before moving on.

The water heater was always the last to be brought back to life.

Glad you found the water pump issue. I once did a temporary repair to a central heating system with two part epoxy and a fabric sticking plaster. (carpenter had put nail through the pipe and I didn't notice until much later - the plumber said it was a ***** of a job and he wished he'd left my temporary repair in place)

jerryz sorry to hear about your emergency and the funeral. Hope everything resolves as best possible under the circumstances.

It may just need the thermocouple tip moving closer to the flame. Or cleaning if its sooty.

Without reading through all of the posts, but from the last post, I would be thinking that the regulator is the problem.

Is it the air circulation fan you're trying to get access to?
If so, on our Combi 4E the grill circled is just a push fit (you need a sharp knife / fine screwdriver to get it off).

The fan is in behind this and ours clogged up with dog hair / muck / etc but managed to clear it using a 1/2" paint brush gently pushed in the removed grill cover and gently turning the fan. Then used the brush to gently sweep the muck out of the hole.

Once we got the fan cleaned the boiler fired up OK.

Did I say use the brush gently so you don’t bend the fan fins?

The parts I'm talking about are marked on the attached Parts List.
