Got a family emergency and a funeral to go to other end of UK ,, so
start up van , refill water tank , start boiler , open gas valves ,, cooker and Truma ok but Gas fridge not starting even though its all new parts recently , maybe new gas valve is too cold ???

Water pump also not working so no water flowing ,, I have all the heaters on ,,

do you think if I warm things up it will all work ,, I really have to get away today ????

what type of water system/pump do you have. If submerged pump then shake it whilst in the water and trying to operate. Often have air lock

Don’t worry about fridge. You can buy food around that problem and it’s not exactly topical currently

Hi
Could it be blocked air in gas system , try isolating gas to any other appliances, but just allow gas flow to fridge only to see if it forces air out ?

Just go ! Sort it once you arrive.Things to try- Is water tank full ? Tap pump with a small 🔨 check you have gas in your bottle/ tank ? Does fridge work on electricity/ 12v power to fridge with engine running ?

Might sound daft but you never know, you say fridge has new parts fitted, did someone turn off the gas valve to the fridge?
No i did all the work and all valves are on , it wants to light but gas flow not enough ,,

The water pump was working 2 weeks ago , hot water all round , then I drained tank for the cold weather ,, now pump not working and also bypass push switch for boiler not locking home . again all ok 2 weeks ago before the cold spell

Im going to plug in mains and leave the heating on for a couple of hours see what happens ???

water pump fuse is ok

If the gas heating is working just go and don't worry too much. You can get by without a fridge & take some water in bottles or containers.
Gas to fridge & water flow could be just air locks.
I think this is the most likely explanation. A friend asked me to look at their fridge recently they were told at the hab check that the fridge wouldn't work on gas it just needed long enough to purge the air out. I suggested they took it somewhere else next time!

If the gas line is empty to my fridge it takes ages to get it going.

same, and when the cylinder runs out in middle of night as it did over Christmas then took an age to get going again.

Our "trick" is to light the kettle (on gas hob) and have a brew before attempting the fridge light.

On our van if we’ve turned off the hab 12v system (which we do in the winter to stop pump running if water dumps) then nothing works. Is that on?

As suggested above, do check it was not isolated when work was being done.
You should have a set of taps that look broadly like below. Make sure that one for the fridge is on. Apologies if I am teaching my grandmother to suck eggs. :(

OK Gas fridge now working on gas not just electric , and water pump is also working but i think there may be some ice is the lines even though it was fully drained . The toilet had ice in the bowl ?? it had been drained and cleaned too ,, but thats gone now

So i think when the heating has warmed the van up some more , the water lines will clear and all should be good ,, im going down to John Stayte in Stroud to top off the gas tanks now ,, before heading off on my journey ,,

If you can, and have the little clear filter bowl before your water pump, carefully check this. It is easily cracked and then pump sucks in air. Possibly won’t leak water as system at this point is unpressurised.

Hmm cant find the water pump its not in the water tank I thought it was under the cooker hob cupboard as thats where i hear its motor but its not down there only pipes and waste and electrics cables ,, might have to crawl under the van ???? there are no leaks .in the van or under . My Adria 680 Coral ST manuals dont even mention the water pump location ......

Try lifting the mattress there may be a panel at the front you lift and maybe under there. That's how Adria fit them in the island bed vans.

I would just go and see if it sorts itself out. You can carry some bottled water and it's probably too cold in the uk to curdle the milk (y)
