I Have Just Found...

Sorry I missed the start. How long is a piece of string?

In the words of the song “how long has this been going on”

Don’t tell me to get Knotted😂😂

:ROFLMAO: Laughing because I have a short piece of string in the door pocket - and I know what it's for.

I have just found a piece of string at the back of a cupboard that is 28 cms long.

Do you think I should keep it or throw it away?

JJ
A 28cm cupboard? Useless for storage [other than a box of England's Glory matches, or maybe Swan Vesta at a push; perhaps need to tilt them at 45 degrees to make them fit]. I'd bin the cupboard and buy a full sized version ... ;) (y)

Stick it on ebay JJ.
I remember a few years ago someone sold a short (couple of feet from memory) length of rope

I would offer to take it off your hands but the piece of string that I need is only 26cm but is anyone has got some the correct length I would be very grateful the ball I have is 2 metres long which is far to long for what I need.

I think JJ has a string fetish. :gum:

LOL The windscreen washers weren't working, opened the bonnet, checked washer level - ok, but as I was closing the bonnet noticed the tube from washer bottle to nozzle it was getting pinched, hence no water. Used the short length of string to hold tube out of the way and when bonnet closed, pulled the string free! Genius (y) Bet you wished you hadn't asked?

If I were you I'd throw it away.
Sods Law paragraph 13 states, 'never keep a piece of string less than 29cms because sometime in your life you will need a piece of string 28.5cms long to save someones life, just imagine how you'd feel if your piece of string was only 28cms long, you'd never forgive yourself'. :whistle2:
