Whilst having a boring flic through Flebay, I saw a
Honda Invertor EU10i generator advertised not too far from me priced£200 . . . Now I know second-hand these go for much more like anything between £400 upwards so I thought I'd take a chance, contacted the seller & had a 8 mile drive to see it, he said he'd had it for his caravan but as it was a 2stroke it was burning oil more than expected & he thought the piston rings were knackered, I knocked him down to £175 as I know these are 4 strike not 2 & I guessed that he'd been adding oil to the petrol . . .having got it home, drained the 'contaminated' petrol, cleaned the gunged up spark plug, checked the oil and hey presto it started & runs sweet & after letting it run for an hour powering a 100w light bulb I consider I got myself a bargain ready for future power cuts or ends of the world scenario !
