I don't like tunnels at the best of times, but...

Tbf some of the rolling stock is starting to look a bit worn out, they re going to have issues, but less issues than you get with ferries.

We always use the tunnel. My main gripe is that I have a problem hearing/understanding the announcements given whilst in the train. As for being evacuated my first thought would be are there loos in the service tunnel, I've only used the ones in the train once and they were disgusting.

I am planning on selling tickets to the next fitting
I shall try to find a gopro vid done with te camera strapped to Dillon
It was the first time and I made a fundamental error
Placed it UNDER his chest instead of on his back
Silly sod felt something was under him and spent the entire time trying to jump over it !!!
I thought you were half joking and look forward to watching the GoPro video, does Dillon like diving once all the kit is on?

I used the euro tunnel hundreds of times over an 11 1/2 year HGV employment with a Dutch flower importer. Twice a week most of the time. I lost count the number of times it stopped underground. Most of the time it got going again after about 5 mins but also had to evacuate to the service tunnel about 6 times due to the fire alarms going off. It’s all very exciting but extremely safe and a very well practiced procedure. No danger to the public / drivers whatsoever and I’d say a damn site safer than having problems on a boat.
Personally I’d use it every time crossing the channel. Especially after what P&O did to their staff.
