Hymer Radio Ariel (2 Viewers)

Has anyone upgraded their ariel on their mohurs is a 2002 hymer b574. It's got an ariel that's about 18 inches long.Doesnt work very well.Not sure why only thing it's good at picking up is our local radio station

I've found all the ones mounted on the front wing etc to be useless I think it needs to be up on the roof . So I don't listen to radio much .

It is above the passenger door,so nearly on the roof 3m up

My 2003 Hymer A Class has an aerial from these guys

It works but not brilliant so I mostly stream radio and podcasts from my phone via bluetooth.
I think all aerials have pretty crap performance on motorhomes
