Well Ham hands here has gone and broken our locker handle. I have sourced a second hand one .As they have been discontinued.
I need to take the barrel out of the old one and put it in the new one.How would I go about this 🤔

You need to get a removal key they are only a few quid, just push the key in, in the unlocked postion and the barrel pulls out.
Not at home at the moment so can't tell you where I got one from.

If it's a Zadi lock, which my 2004 Hymer is, you need the Red key, note that the lock needs to be in the unlocked position for you to be able to remove the barrel.

I don't know why the link changes to pardon our interruption but click on it to get to the ebay listing.

Yes,depending on the make and colour of the flap.

I known someone that used an old steal knife instead of the red key. It's all about releasing a metal tang at the end of the barrel.

Don't worry, the knife doesn't work unless the lock is in the unlock position.

As they are not very expensive, I would try the red zadi key myself as that worked on my 2004 Hymer A class, is there a number on the lock face, that might help.
I just noticed the flap is black so maybe not the red key, sorry.
