Can anyone help, I'm looking for auto-electrician in Cornwall who will look at Hymer Fiat Ducato, the cooling fan will not turn off in engine, the van is in garage its not the fuse, they think its wiring and i cannot find anyone who will take this on as they don't do imports......thanks guys

Maybe the temperature sender is playing up, or it's terminal is corroded, might just need a wiggle and a clean ? A new sender shouldn't be hard to obtain and fit. Anyway, aren't all Fiats imports ?
Sure a Fiat owner will be along to tell you where the switch is located. (y)

My money is on a Faulty temperature switch which is generally fitted in the radiator .. not a big or expensive job to replace.. hours labour + switch .. £60

when speaking to the garage, tell them it's a Fiat Ducato, with engine size and year of manufacture..

it's a job any decent garage can do..

usually not that difficult to find the fault any auto electrician should do it with their eyes closed

Well i thought it was an easy job, but the auto garage i called said he didn't work on Hymers but would have a look but may not be able to find the fault. so rather than taking it to him i thought id try and find somewhere else.
