Hymer Exsis-I 562 2015 on Transit chassis (1 Viewer)

Hi, I’m looking at buying an Exsis-I 562 next week on an 15 plate and have been doing some research. Something I’ve read on one of the forums is that Hymer ceased using the Transit chassis in the Exsis in 2012 when they moved to Fiat. Does anyone know why the one I’m looking at would be Transit based… Thanks in advance

Check the Hymer id plate on the body, the year of production should be part of the serial number.

562 is on a Trannie last ones made 2013, Fiat based Exsis from 2011/ 2012.
A bit odd on a 15 plate may have been sitting unsold for a couple of years.

Certificate's of Conformity will show build dates, there should be a Ford one and a Hymer one. I think that model is on a Ford chassis but if it is on an Al-Ko there be an Al-Ko one as well.

I’ve seen the certificate of conformity .. it’s dated July 2014 so it makes sense (I think anyway ) .. It was registered in Germany in April 2015 then in this country in October of the same year… Cheers
