Hymer B578 windscreen value. (1 Viewer)

I am buying a Hymer A class Moho and Ripe insurance are asking what value windscreen cover I need. Up to £1000 is included for free, £2500 is additional £36.33. £5000 is £60.55.
Im thinking It might cost more than £1000, but surely no more than £2500

Some windscreens can cost a lot more,why not call a supplier and get a quote and that will help you decide what level of cover you need .

It would be madness to go for less than £5000 cover. Many screens are £3k plus.

My last Hymer the screen was £2500 plus fitting I would say you need at least £3500 cover.

As one Hymer member discovered when they cracked a windscreen in Spain last year.

It was considerably cheaper and faster to drive back via Hymer in southern Germany and get the new screen fitted there rather than waiting for delivery to the UK and he will have saved the 20% 'brexit benefit' importation cost on top of that.

At £600+ for extra insurance over 10 years ...... Do you feel lucky punk ? Well do ya ?

(Also be aware that several UK glass companies have fitted screens that appear to be the same, but are not and never fit as they should, so you need a genuine Hymer replacement windscreen, not something which is allegedly 'the same')
