Not enough
We have just purchased a 2003 B524, the internal habitation door will not lock from inside, the black button will not push down into the locking position. l took it apart and re-assembled it and it worked for about 5 closures but then it would not engage again. It will lock & unlock with the key fine.

Does anyone have a schematic of the lock mechanism online or know which Part may be worn and where l could get a replacement.

Thanks

This is a pic of the door mechanism

I don't know if this will work for u.i had the same problem,I figured the black button will go down when u lock it with the key.
So with the door open and the key in the lock,I turned the key a tiny bit at a time, and kept trying to push the button down.Result at a certain point (in my case when the key was at 10 o clock) the button went down👍. I assume someone previously had tried to break in and had damaged the lock. When I go away now before we go to sleep I make sure the hab door lock is at 10 o clock ,and when closed the black button goes down👍.I hope this will work for u.Btw mine is a 2002 b574.

Looks like you have a spring missing.

I had to replace it in mine and this is the part I ordered from Travelworld
