How To Use A Thetford

Right all.I hate to bring things down so low but I need advice from your good selves
I thought it was just simply keep flap closed till all business was done and then open flap.
Now my young lad wants to leave it a small bit open while he does a wee,as he experiences "splashback" when he opens the flap after.
He won't open it fully because of the chance of "smell"
Now the question is can he do this without any chance of wee getting past the seal into the cassette compartment

Try and empty every two days. Always leave the shutter open, or 'STUFF' gets dragged into the seal, and you have to use your WIFE's toothbrush to clean it.

I've corrected that for you .

Get him to wee outside like real men do...

Having more than once got 'my own back' due to internal pressure I will always open the flap a little or if I forget due to urgency I will put the lid down prior to opening the flap with the sure knowledge that I will be having a wipe down of the lid and seat
