I have what appears to be a twin camera rear camera setup. Two cameras, two cables, one monitor. However, I can only get one video feed on the monitor, which is the reversing camera feed, that goes live when I select reverse gear. I cannot get a feed off the permanent rear view camera. I'm wondering if there is some clever combination of buttons to get the permanent camera feed? I've uploaded a shot of the monitor, but it looks pretty generic. I bought the van like this and it has never worked. Anyone any clues?

Making very slow progress. Managed to pull through the cable that feeds the monitor, after enlarging the hole through the top of the dash! These are photos of the connector, and of the wiring inside the monitor. I still have the problem of finding where the two camera feeds are merged into the one cable that feeds the monitor. My plan is to connect the two camera feeds to one of these, https://www.parkingcameras.com/stor...ows-two-cameras-to-use-one-channel-cable.html Then plug the cable that feeds the monitor into the "video output" socket on the box of tricks, and also find the reverse light positive feed somewhere and connect that as shown. Thoughts?

Somewhere under the dash but probably less than 3 feet away from the monitor your wire will split into the two feeds, if it doesn’t then it splits at the rear with a single 9 core wire coming forwards.
It could look something like the picture but I’m thinking it will split at the rear. What or where are cameras mounted in relation to what is on inside wall, pictures would be helpful.

I also feel it splits/joins at the rear. The picture shows the mirror/shelf that is on the back wall of the bathroom, which is exactly below the cameras on the outside. Thinking about taking that down to see what is behind.

Wires either feed up and through the roof or down and under the floor, floor is easier so check there first. If you can get the mirror off easy then check for cables

I doubt it will be easy..... But I will try to take down the mirror. Do you agree that the 9 pin connector indicates that both the camera feeds have been combined into the one cable?

Yes that’s what it looks like to me.
probably find the join at rear behind mirror or in a void in wall

Sounds like it, single cameras they normally use 4 pin connectors sometimes 6 if the camera has audio.

Just spoken to Reversing Cameras UK. They seem to think there should be a separate power supply to the monitor. I'd assumed it was part of the nine pin setup. Should there be a separate power supply, or could it have been combined into the single cable that feeds the monitor through the 9 pin DIN connector?

I don't recall a separate power feed for the monitor when I removed it from my G740C to replace with a 4 way split screen. There was only the one cable coming out of the monitor, but this was 5 years ago so I can't confirm as the Pilote has now gone.

My best guess is that the power supply is configured as per post #32 by 1967bowesj

Took the mirror assembly down off the back wall. No sign of any cables. Damn! I guess the connections must be somewhere under the dash. Seems like a massive faff to get under the dash. No idea how it all comes apart on an A class. Can't even get access lying on my back in the footwell as the Aguti seat makes it really difficult to get under there. And even if I could would I see anything from underneath? About to give up.
