How to stay longer off grid (compressor fridge).

Well next step but one will be to find someone good to upgrade controller etc BUT immediate problem is to find someone to look at the Truma boiler … it stopped working on electric (ok on gas) whilst we were in France - can’t get inside the boiler due to how it’s mounted in seat base (can’t get side cover off) - looks like boiler will need removing. Really bad design.
After that we’ll be looking for recommendations for who to sort out the controller/battery charging/batteries.

Votronic - On-Buy have a 220version - up to the same as the one suggested above cost £128 odd. Votronic used to go 165, 250,350 and then 430 I think so I guess this is a very recent version. They too support Li.
That is because it is a PWM controller not a MPPT also about 50 quid overpriced.

To get the trickle charge from my Votronic Duo I just run a cable to the positive input to the EBL. Has worked perfectly for around 3 years and not had a starter battery problem since doing it 👍
