I'm becoming increasingly frustrated, and increasingly poorer, by breaking ground pegs when trying to remove them! I have used a few different types (orange and yellow) and these are all rock pegs as we stay mostly on hard standing pitches. I seem to have to destroy at least 2 or 3 every time we use them and it's driving me nuts, particularly as they seem to drive in relatively easily.

Can I call on your experience to return my sanity as there must be something I'm missing, or decent pegs that you can recommend to save me spending ages trying to heave them out of the ground!

I'm not a small chap, and am fit and healthy, so it definitely isn't a lack of grunt or determination.

Many thanks.

when i was in the Brussel Sprouts (boy scouts ) 50 years ago we used a peg gripped in hand to pull the one in the ground out straight .
That's what I generally do and I was never a scout!

You can buy a proper peg puller, I had one years ago when I had a bust right hand
A lot of people struggle because they dont pull it out at the angle it went in, I still cant believe people cant get that right 🤷‍♂️
I have used screw in ones for decades as the pits at the racetrack were usually tarmac, try getting plastic ones in that 🤣
