Is there a way? The only way I can think of is two cheap smart phones mounted in a frame wired to a phone charger, mounted on a wall.

Where's the fun in I don't need to know?
Getting to that knowledge.
In my case absolutely buckets load of fun.
If i were to follow your line, i wouldnt buy another phone , i would reularly check both batteries (one phone or set up my tablet on a semipermament basis) and write down info then a spreadsheet. Prove to myself that i'm not in a position of " i don't need to know" then rethink what do you need to know and when.
Swmbo once asked me will this measurement system ever be finished. Answer never, too much fun in improving changing it. Currently having a rest since i cant get my new touch screen doing precisely what i want. Still wont need it.

That's bloody awesome. What's the minimum Vicron kit we need for something like that?
The minimum is a Cerbo GX (or Raspberry Pi) with a VE-Direct cable for each device (smartshunt, mppt, etc).
The touchscreen is optional but nice to have.
And remember the Cerbo needs internet to see from your armchair.

So essential is the Cerbo GX and at least a smartshunt.

Min would be cerbo s gx or raspberry pi and Internet access from the van to send the data to the Victron VRM site

Would the slightly cheaper Cerbo S GX work just as well for a small system?

I think I would pay the few quid more for the GX it gives you room for expansion in fresh and grey tanks etc.

But with the S you could still add Bluetooth tank gauges like the mopeka gauges for LPG, fresh and grey.

I just use a raspberry pi 3B for my system.

We run a Pi in one MH and a Cerbo GX in another. The Pi is “cheap” but there are some drawbacks. If it was me I’d go for a proper Cerbo GX (as I have done in my own MH). I have gas tank and water tank connected to it.

How do you connect the gas tank to it?
I have a GasIT underslung with a gauge. I bought a gauge with two Wires coming out - basically changes the resistance. The Cerbo GX has places to connect these sort of devices. Very easy.
