How to make best use of ‘Search for Sites’ app

I use search 4 sites in conjunction with copilot caravan on a Samsung tablet for finding and navigating to sites, s4s calls the default motorhome set up in copilot when using the navigation option so if you put in your weight and dimensions into copilot don't save it with a new name just save it, that way copilot shouldn't send you down an inappropriate route. I found out the hard way when copilot sent me down a very narrow mountain road in Spain because it thought I was in a smaller van then I was.

The bottom part of car park at St Marygate St is quite good. Nice bit of shade and Sainsburys at the top. Quiet and free at night. Interesting little Victorian prison museum across the road.

We've just had walk around Ripon it's lovely. All that carpark though was jammed, on all levels. I was lucky just getting out with mi 7 my van. We did manage to find a invalid parking place outside Sainsbury's - perfect.

Not a fan of P4N never had much luck with loads of places only suitable for small camper loads of paces don't exist any more and coordinaits often way our. We find Camper Contact far more reliable.

Never use coordinates just click on itinerary and Google maps takes you straight to the gate and will even show you photos of what it's like.

If the coordniates are wrong it will come up wrong in Google maps.

Yeah you are probably right on size but that's something that doesn't make any difference to us, if a car can get in so can we.

In over ten years of relieing on p4n we have never found one that was too small or not there or anything else, we have found one or two that we rejected for other reasons but always one near by even if it has to be a campingcarpark.
