How much to replace this water pipe do you think (guesses welcome)

I do most of the work on our motorhomes myself. But with a ramp or pit, some jobs are not easy to do. I couldn’t get it high enough of the ground.

When I questioned the bill. I was told “should have been 10 hours really”

Used to be fairly priced, they have done a fair bit of work every mot and servicing for me but since Paul took a back seat and his son took over
its gone expensive and
I now go elsewhere.
I guess leaving the footnote on was a give away

Seriously , that looks about right . It's a very awkward pipe to replace , i've done mine . Though it's easy to reach , removal is far more difficult . I removed the alternator , waterpump , and eventually turbo mounting , just to get it loose . I already had the battery and mounting bracket completely removed , so it came out that way , but replacing , was for some reason far more difficult . As a weekend spanner thrower , it took me two day's . But i had problems with gaskets . 2 were supplied , one thick , one thin , i used the wrong one and a bolt wouldn't fit , i would not expect a professional to make the same mistake . Just to make life more interesting , this was slotted in by the turbo mounting , at an angle . Easy to get out , almost impossible to get back . Your working at full stretch , lying under the van , on one arm , reaching over the front axle .
