Okay Folks...

System up and running.

Everything is working to spec.

And the day ended up getting even better as my good friend Mathieu, who has helped me many times in the past, has taken the old Traumatic C for spares for the one he has in his Arto.

In payment for the heater he is helping me to wash my bedding tomorrow!

All's well that ends well.

(I wish it would cool down more... I want to test the heating properly.)

It's done... I've had a shower!

If you don't believe me check with Mr and Mrs Lenny HB who kindly visited me just as I stepped out of it (carefully wrapped in towels of course.)

Long time
Our hot water packed up a while ago, Manic had it all out and found the heating element had (we thought ) died but it turned out to be a small unit on the side of the ‘belt’.
After ordering a new unit and fitting we had hot water again…phew, that would have cost us a lot of money!

September 2023 :)
It appears parts are no longer available for my non working Trumatic C-Heater water/air heating thingy...

A replacement is going to be in the region of €3000 (fitted)... :crying:

Do I have any other options?

What do you lot think...

I'm getting a tad smelly...

Hi JJ
Have you had a look at this site that's a stones throw from where I live.
Don't know what their delivery would be to Portugal though!

Well worth a look at, I think. We only have a hot water heater that runs on EHU so seriously thinking
of going diesel ourselves.

Best regards
Billy

JP Chinese heater exact copy of the Truma C6 avalible in gas or diesel I think about £900.
This made me chuckle, there are lots of posts bemoaning the Chinese yet we are also happy to promote them. I guess people pay their money and take their choice looks like you can get the real thing from Jackson leisure for £1479 and I guess Truma support where would you go for the Chinese rip off? (just a question not a criticism)
