How does this towing vehicles on trailers actually work, does the vehicle have to be registered anywhere or is it just so much scrap, similar to toads and all these foreign people you see at the tunnel taking English cars abroad on trailers, as for toads do you have to declare both taxed at the ports ,or what.

Sorry no If its a UK reg vehicle , and going out of EU cant see that it would be a bother , lots of recovery companies do the same ?

As a vehicle re mot etc it's no business of the authorities or port owners. Jus like rusty classic cars.

However customs might take a view esp post B.

A bill of sale might help and a original sales documents showing tax had been paid?

Just had another thought. They've been here a few years so must be residents now.
Spanish residents cannot drive a UK vehicle here.
