How much for an Oil & Filter change

You forgot to mention, when they drain old oil, they then f**k off and work on someone elses car so they can make "double bubble"!
Really are you sure...

I recall as a young apprentice I was working on one vehicle and was looking for a water leak I lifted out the rubber overflow pipe to check if that was where the water was coming from. I was interrupted by the Reception manager who had an urgent job for me to look at so stop what what you are doing he said.

I started work on the 2nd vehicle and wishing a few minutes a 3rd urgent vehicle was presented to me even more urgent then the first two, So I fixed the 3 rd urgent job then the 2nd

When I went back to the first job a couple of hours had passed, I couldn't see a water leak so I started the engine...Oh boy was I annoyed the fan sucked the pipe in to the blades ripping out the overflow hose, the force of the hose whipping around in the fan, the loose end hit the radiator and put a hole in one of the Rad fins. The owner of the dealership heard about what happened and I know he wasn't adverse to sacking people on the spot, he came along and had a chat about what happened. I explained I had been interrupted twice! due to the urgency of the other jobs, I was fully expecting to have my bonus pay docked 'at best' but he could also have sacked me for damaging a customers vehicle. I actually have a lot of respect for that owner as he acknowledge that my work schedule had been interrupted and told me not to worry 'it's just one of those things'. I saw him wandering across to the service reception and sacked the reception manager on the spot. It wasn't this one incident but apparently several others,

One job at a time and people tend not make mistake, work gets done faster and customers have confidence. It may be a backstreet garage technician works on multiple vehicles but if so thats bad practice.
