What is the popular diminutive term for a motorhome?

As a narrowboater then it was - "I'm off to the boat for the weekend"
or a caravanner maybe - "We're off in thevan this weekend"

But what term describes a motorhome ?

Thanks

Peter

since we have lived in the 5th wheel it has not been out, so at the moment it's just "home."
We are at the moment at a Land Rover show in the truck camper, which, for now we call "the camper" (it's first trip out). Not too exciting but there you go:Rofl1:
Pamala & Nigel
BTW the truck is running OK at the moment. We just fitted a REALLY good lift pump.

we live in a log cabin for six months and work to finance living in the Rv for 6 months so our stuff is either in the "the cabin, the camper or the car"

We just say 'the coach', while my parents and their friends always referred to their caravans as 'the van'.

A friend named his boat The Rode, referring to the combination of rope and chain between the boat and the anchor. When he'd sneak days off from work, his secretary would always answer the phone saying "he's on the Rode again".

Names??

Hi

Whats in a name?, "A rose by any name would smell as sweet" (shakespere?).

However, R-V, Camper, "the van", They have all been used. I call it Odessa, SWMBO likes to refer to it as "his toy". (but she`s the first one to ask Where next? and when!!).

Still so long as it takes me AWAY from staring at 4 walls, (or the "idiot lantern"I dont mind!!.

To us it's off in the van. But we should really call her "Dolly" her name after DOLLY PARTON>
