Apart from the obvious answer “when you switch them on!”

I have two showers in my house. A power shower that uses and electric pump and a “gravity” shower that uses gravity.

neither seem appropriate for a MH?

With a 215L storage tank & 10L boiler we use as much water as we want , approx 20L each for a shower
lasts about 5 days without even trying 👍
I take it then, that as you use 20L each, and a 10L boiler, as the 10L is used up it is replaced by cold water from the storage tank, and is instantly heated to continue with your ablution routine, without having to wait for the boiler to reach useable warm temperature, similar to our combi boiler sequence/system at home?
If so, I did not know that.
I always thought that the 10L boiler would only deliver heated water for some of its time and as the heated was used up, it would progressively get cooler as the cold water from storage flows to replace the heated water and the two mix.
Hence the need to be sparing with the use, not just for exhausting the stored water rather quickly, but also as not to run out of heated water before you are free of your soapy froth rinsing.
Interesting!

On the alde 3020 you can increase the water temperature from 50 to 70 deg , I keep the gas on while showering , it does not work like a combi but with the gas continually heating the water while in use & the temperature of cold water in the tank being much warmer in the summer & with 70deg of water to begin with , you are then blending the cold water with the hot water to achieve a temperature of approx 47 deg giving you approximately 20L for the shower in Summer ( less in winter ) , and yes you eventually run out of hot water having to reheat to 70 deg for the next person to shower

You can add "Alde flow" to the later Alde systems which basically makes it produce continuous hot water so more like a combi boiler, that was one box we didn't tick though and like you we manage fine with the Alde on "boost" to maximise hot water and then let it mix.

As I can get my temperature up-to 70 degrees (50 or 70 settings) I will try the higher setting technique for the shower.
If all else fails, it will be a laugh at the flannel , then pits and bits with a baby wipe!
Then onto a site with showers.
😊
