How did that happen?🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It was 4700kgs with the scooter, washing machine, beer, ME, all on board. Now it’s 4700kgs without me and the stuff I brought to Chester, NO scooter, no washing machine, I wasn’t even in it🤷‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 good job I uprated it to 5 tons😉👍👍

Did you buy that sticker off eBay 😁? no joking aside 2700kg rear axle you must go over on that with the scooter etc? the 2300kg front you will never use but I suppose getting 2 out of 3 weights within the limits is okay 🙈 😉

You’re spot on, I’m 100 over on the rear with the scooter and both full water tanks, I have to drop one 70ltrs and move my beer up front😉👍👍
This pic was took way before all my mods were done and just after I got back from weighbridge

I may have to have a re think on the weight distribution when I put the scoot back in, I fear it will be NO water and NO washing machine🤣🤣🤣🤣

Try taking deeper breaths the more air you carry the lighter it should be 🤔
Adi is full of enough hot air.🤣

Trying to be serious on this thread is a bit hard. 🤣 But what you have added can't come to more than about 125kg tops I would have thought.

I reckon either your before or after weight is out.
I know you use your weighbridge at work, when was it last calibrated?

Also weighbridge are calibrated at 18 tonnes and a flat weighbridge has a tolerance of +/- 110kg, a dynamic one +/- 150kg per axle.
So to be safe just make sure you are 300kg under. 🤣

Having said that modern strain gauges are very accurate so results are fairly accurate (hopefully).

When I went to get weighed the operator said it had a +/- tolerance of 5%, it was mainly used for grain carrying lorries so my small 4t hardly tickled it and I suspect more accurate at higher weights like WESTY66 one.

I think I’ve found the culprit for the increase in weight….. that bloody double usb socket I put in🤣🤣🤣

Then it’s induction this induction that, now she wants induction ridgemonkey, it never ends🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙄

Weighbridge is calibrated twice a year and we have two and I ran on both of them with discrepancies of less than 20kgs.

So, if you were pulled over and weighed and found to be 100kg over what you're allowed, what would be the penalty?
Come to think of it, how many on here have actually been pulled over and weighed?

They can pit a probation on and say until the weight is removed you can't move.

This could mean

Leaving behind a travelling companion
Dropping the water tanks.
Giving the books that you have read to a passing MH

Or eating yourself silly and then taking a laxative ..not a quick solution

These are only suggestions and not advisory and may be hazardous to health

My mate Mike Tude was weighed in Belgium (I think) and was 60kgs overweight

He offered to drop the water which they agreed would sort it but still fined him 400euros 😱

In our lives as a motorhome owners we have had 4 sub 3500kg Motorhome/Campervans..we managed quite well..carrying 2 eMtbs..etc...can someone please advise when we should be upgrading to the weights discussed on this thread...although I have a C1 entitlement is there a time in my life that I might need more bits and pieces and enjoy a different style of travel.🤔😃

When you say managed were they ever weighed or is that a requirement in Spain?

We weigh our van prior to the start of any extended trip...we actually pass a public weighbridge before joining the motorway..it costs 1€
We get a printed ticket.and place it under the sun visor..
Why are we so vigilant...well, my way of thinking is this, if the Cops pull me over and I can in all faith produce my ticket, this may show to the man with the side arm, that I regard the weight of our vehicle as an important issue.
Of course if their scales show me as being overweight, I couldn't contest this... but can explain to them that what I do in good faith was correct..🧑‍✈️🇪🇦🤔
