How about a little Funsters window sticker?

Didn't know there was a special 10 year one, that means I will have to cough up again next year to see what it looks like.

Don't think there is a ten year sticker per se.
@Brian and Jo offered a one off special this year for funsters that joined in 2007 but that was for the 'originals' only

Won't ask for any more badges or stickers Asked Jim for a badge at Malvern and was totally ignored definitely needs change in the club

I made over 100 badges at Malvern, its what I go there to do so why would I ignore you? If you felt you were ignored I’m very sorry, but I did not knowingly ignore you or anyone else

For those Funsters who are not into the drug/Acid scene or who are not swingers so don’t want to display the smiley. Then you are in luck. Next year we will be printing a batch of blue square stickers to match the logo top left.

The initial print run will be for 12 and we’ll see how they go (y). :D
Don’t do what I did Jim and print 300:eek::LOL::LOL: and get left with about 220:LOL:

I don’t think Jim would ever ignore anyone knowingly (unless you had been seeing to much of Sian:LOL:) just eat your pride and ask again(y)
As far as the club changing ,seen as Jim is the Gaffer and as far as I know is going nowhere,it ain’t gonna happen.(y):)

I for one don't like our current sticker and I am sure I am not alone with some people reluctant to display it. It is not very subtle and leaves to the wrong interpretation of its meaning (nudge nudge wink wink). Something more in keeping with our lifestyle and responsible attitude and dare I say discreet would get my vote. Tin had on.

I can’t be too fussy, I’ll take any action that comes my way.....;)

The 10 year one is nice and subtle, looks like you qualify for one next year.:)
nope theas are for the members that had ten years with the forum on the 10th anniversary exclusively for them

This just an idea @Jim and I am only mentioning this as there is a thread running on stickers would it be possible to produce a sticker for the rear of the van and I mean a proper sticker not a window sticker. A lot of vans park nose in to sites so you can't see the windscreen sticker so one on the back would help identify members. I am not asking for anything for free I for one would be willing to pay . Thanks Jim

If we're having new stickers for "Little Funsters" then I demand one for "Fat Funsters".

And they are in English. This is racist. What about our minority members.

And the blind members, do they get a Braille one - NO.

No wonder the boss voted OUT, he could feel the hot breath of the European Court of Human Rights on his neck.

@Jim does those as well;)(y)(y)

Where have you seen them I don't seem to see them advertised anywhere , (y):)
When @Jim sent me my Eversoluverly and highly sort after Funster Bear, He sent one with that. The other one came from @eddievanbitz from his stand at the NEC last year. A hard trade off for not fitting my B2B, but that's another story.;);) Get the Rum ready Ed, I'm inbound Wednesday.(y)(y)

I think the prominent “proud member" wording in the OP's suggestion could be seriously misunderstood. :)
Sadly I haven't had a proud member for some time now. :(

:LOL::LOL::LOL:

@Jim hello Jim I am told you might have the very sticker I was describing in my my above post how would I go about getting one off you ? Sorry if this was just @Badknee winding me up

Think yourself lucky that you can remember having a proud member, some of us can't remember that far back.:(

Bugger my day off

I'll leave the rum lol

I've got two on my van - the round smiley is on the front but I have one of the old "pennon" ones on a side window.

I like the current one, I have two in my windscreen.

I think the whole point is to make us recognisable to each other at a distance or passing at speed on a main road.

Some thing "subtle" that looks just the same as a thousand others until you get up close would be a complete waste of time. On the road you would never spot one and when you're parked up who's going to go peering closely at other people's windscreen to read a sticker to see if it's the "right" one or not? I'm sure I wouldn't.

Any logo or design like this needs to be a) in bold high contrast colours and b) simple. Dull and muted, or "subtle" if you prefer, and complicated seldom works.

Big yellow smiley face = another funster. Works.

Some random design in beige = could have been anything, hardly even noticed it before I was past. Pointless.

I'll be sticking with the yellow ones.
All well and good, but how much value can you attach to "Oh there's another Funster going in the opposite direction?" You are hardly going to have any personal interaction, beyond a wave - which many motorhomers give to each other in any case, Funster or not...

If you're going to think like that why bother with any sticker at all of any description?

The point remains that anyone wandering around peering into windscreens trying to read boring dull "subtle" stickers to see if it's a Funster or not is likely to get punched.

Do we need to wear them different sides depending where we're driving?

Does not have to be in the opposite direction. I caught up up with another motorhome when I was come down the A1 last week, saw the yellow sticker in the back window, waved and tooted the horn when I came alongside and had the same in reply, now I know who Jaws is. It may be sad to some but I can live with it. :D

Yes of course! I've got one on the back for when I'm reversing see. (y)

Planned in advanced or just now. Lol:LOL::LOL:
Does that mean Ash will sell me a b2b(y)(y)
Make sure you brief him on how to pour a special chocolate for a real Navy man:D2:notworthy:

We've got 3 on the front ... one at each of the top outer corners of the windscreen, a triangular banner one in the top middle of the windscreen, and one on the back stuck over the Fiat badge ... can you see it peeking?

Now, what's this 10 year one I've read about ... I'm sure I 'qualify' ... :)
