Hot water on gas , help please

I can’t seem to find any power but I am totally confused . There is a connection between the ultrastore control unit and the boiler , but where are the incoming power wires ?View attachment 523165

I'm pretty sure there is a small fuse tucked away in amongst those wires, have you check that.

There is one you are correct . I think I would need to slide the circuit board up and check it . I did ( perhaps wrongly ) assume this fuse was ok as the water does heat on electric . I will try and check it later .

Do a continuity test on the loom first

I did as you suggested and found that one of the 5 wires in the loom was not showing continuity . I was able to completely remove the loom and find the broken wire .All is now working as it should . I’ve done a Gadget John style bodge job with some tape and I’ve ordered a new loom . Thank you .

All fitted and working , nice hot water . The only problem I had was refitting the loom lol .
