German vans may be the better option if you are using it in the winter.
There is no wood in the construction of our Hymer and the so called wood ‘furniture’ interior is doubtful it is wood, maybe a wood compound of some sort, but it’s lasted 21 years so far!

has Jay Butts git a van yet ?

ps having done 6,000 miles in France in a 8.6m long & 3.4m high MoHo, I’ve had little
