Nice except the colour, I don’t do green. 🤮
Other colours are available. 😎

Anybody got one? Thinking of trading in the KTM Duke 390 for something maybe a bit more fun.
After camping on some really sodden fields this year (had to get towed 3 times) the knobbly tyres are a big advantage straight away 🤔

If it's just a case of needing more traction on grass and gravel but still needing decent road performance you might like to consider Dunlop Mutant tyres, I'm having a pair fitted to my SV650 tomorrow.

Let us know how you get on with them, I have Pirelli Rosso 2's on mine at the moment, they're ok in the summer, in the dry, but as soon as it gets cold and wet they are horrible, but to be fair they have been on there a few years so maybe they have got a bit hard. I'm looking forward to getting the Dunlops fitted tomorrow.

If you're prepared to ride it in mud, are you also prepared to pressure wash it all down afterwards, and wire wool the exhaust from the baked on muck?

I'll give it a clean but it shouldn't get too bad riding on mainly sodden grass and hopefully just occasional mud.

Interesting, I assumed Husky and GasGas are KTMs in slightly different clothes? How different are they really?
As far as the standard motocross bikes go…Husky is the higher spec, followed by the KTM then the Gas Gas. Minor electrical differences etc. I guess it’s probably similar for the road versions.

Or go for the real deal, exciting is an understatement

No. Same electrics.
Different suspension, wheels,, brakes etc.

I had the Husky TE300i before my GasGas EC300.

Sorry, agreed . I meant things like the engine mapping on the Husky motocrosser such as launch and traction control. Not on the Gas Gas. And the pricing reflected that. Not that my hubby has ever used the launch control

I quite like the look of these, available in ,ore road going and more off road versions. 150kgs being a major attraction!

Never heard of them but they do look ok. Couldn't see any prices.

Ours are road legal enduro bikes. Not the MX versions.

They use to make very good trials bikes in the 80-90s
There is a big hole in my life from 1980 to 2015 ish.
For gods sake we even missed The Spice Girls, so the odd bike manufacturer can easily slip through.
My trials days it was Bultaco, Ossa, Montessa et al. Owned and ridden all in the day.

Around £6-£7.5k and get good reviews. I'm sorely tempted getting back into bikes after a long gap and this kind of bike would be ideal as a play thing at home and light enough to go in the MH garage....just!

I am trying to persuade hubby to get a road legal one too. He has. A lot of friends who green lane and my old XR 250 doesn’t quite cut it…can’t think why
He still loves his mx though. They do an over 60 class so he is good for a few more years.

Over we have 3 big open air MX tracks where we can go play for free.
But it's the adventure aspect that we all love.
Up and down volcanoes and other silly stuff ;)
