Home EHU electricity cost.

I came to the conclusion many years ago that motorhomes are like boats. Basically a big hole into which you keep chucking money. Not that I'm complaining, we love the lifestyle that motorhomes offer and are happy to pay for it.
 
Don't you have to save an awful lot of electricity to pay for one of those?
oh I shan't be investing at that price, just to see how much I use - whatever info it came up with, it wouldn't change what I do

That's a good way of putting it. It's all too easy to get drawn into brand snobbery when it's not necessary.

Our 240w of solar keep the hab batteries full, but I must admit, the starter battery has suffered since lay up in January due to not plugging in at home.
I have Renogy b2b with mppt and maintains starter battery 400w on roof just ordered 320a lithium with heater & Bluetooth BMS under £300 to replace 220ah lead acid,also just bought 2 x 120w rigid panels(£110) hinged them together to add during bad weather
