Swift Voyager 540
Hi everyone, great to be here!
Just bought a Swift Voyager 540 a few weeks ago having camped under canvas every holiday for the past twenty-five years and reckon it’s one of the best decisions we ever made!
Although very new to all this, we can’t get over just how relaxing life has become, with such immediate freedom from the monotonous nine-to-five :)
We’re currently on our first proper road trip - travelling from south-east England, up through the Peak District, the Lakes, and finally Scotland settling on the north-west coast for a few nights. Next stop back down south via the Northumberland coastline and then straight down to the south coast of Kent.
Hoping to venture into Europe next year although a little apprehensive to be honest, but who knows… either way looking forward to many happy years travelling!
Any advice, hints, tips, recommendations would be so greatly welcomed!

If you can handle motorhoming in the UK (which isn’t the easiest place to do it), you’ll find the continent a dawdle. 👍

Don't be apprehensive. It's all so simple over there and so accessible from the South. It's less than 20 miles from my house - a fiver's worth of diesel - to France (Newhaven ferry port).
And Welcome!
