To all responders. Thanks, after speaking to a guy fishing he informed me that the council had taken over the prom and had kick the guy (Billy) and his caravan off site and MH parking of any description is no longer allowed. They have even blocked off the turning area adjacent to the entrance, so I had to perform a 13 point turn.

No probs moved 4 miles down the coast.

When I travelled in March this year that notice board was not up. It had a notice board saying that Motorhomes, campers and other vehicles overnighting are prohibited and had a height gauge to stop us getting in. That was different from the previous notice which allowed overnight camping and had the phone number.

So either that photo was taken last year or, if not, they have changed their minds and are allowing overnighting again. However, given that the phone number is not answering, I suspect the reason is because they are still not allowing overnighting.

The sign has gone, but the phone number is still visible on the hut. The height barriers are still in place.

Another handy overnight stop to cross off the list.

So short sighted by the council. Not an once of commercial nounce about them.
