Help! Speedometer and Rev Counter failure in our Boxer

I doubt that the ECU is the problem , Try contacting www.cartronix.co.uk in Waterlooville , Hants. who repair this type of dash problems and may know someone in your area who can remove it for you , or they can remove and repair it at their workshop while you wait (if , as suggested, you have checked all of the fuses)
I just emailed them. It's quite a schlepp from here but if they can deal then I'm happy to drive there for their 'same day service' just for peace of mind. Thanks for the tip.

Take up Landy Andy offer to help. It’s easy to take out. I had to take mine out of a 2010 fiat ducato Murvi morello. I sent it to cartronix and it took just a couple of days to fix and return. IIRC the part number is on the back!
Fiat, Peugeot Citroen ducato type vans are all made in the same factory on the same production line in Sevel 👍😁

Many thanks for your response. Although I've done a bit of car wrangling in my day I am a bit paranoid about accidentally immobilising her with my clumsy efforts. I've just emailed Cartronix (thanks for the tip) as they do a 'same day' service and they're only a hundred miles away!:giggle: It's what campervans are for!:p

I have used cartronix in the past just took out the whole unit - very simple - probably saw how on utube- and sent off to them receiving fixed speedo unit back in a few days

I feel like I'm working towards visiting Cartronix for their 'same day service'. I applaud your skills. Once upon a time I would probably have a go at it myself but I'm afraid of accidentally immobilising her. A day trip to Hampshire might be fun!

PS I have tried to find a you tube vid about it but to no avail. I did find the 'fuse board key' on there though, so not a waste of time. : )

Can be hard to get apart, as many people change their dial colours on the readouts.

Thats so easy even Mrs p could do that

To stop instances of 'clocking'

To make it appear the vehicle has done less miles than it really has.
It used to be a big problem. Now it's fairly rare.
Yes I realise that & why I asked the question ?as if you read my previous post to yours I pointed out that if you watch many car you tube programmes you will see that many checks still throw up huge amounts of mileage discrepancies ? & no one appears to do anything about them except the car check sites throwing up that the mileage problem needs to be checked
