100%. Brilliant day of football yesterday, started with Man City while getting ready to go and watch the Posh lose again (miserably this time) and just continued all day, big games nicely spaced out throughout the day. Fabulous Footmas day indeed.Had to watch the football from 12.30pm to 10pm yesterday. The alternative was shopping, come on.
Absolutely loved it and the results went my way. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend Boxing Day other than actually being at a game.
Disappointed there’s only 2 games on today
Not long until Sunday so I can do it all over again
AbsolutelyFamily arrived a little while ago TV on footie on
is this what is known as quality time with family
Thankyou , never seen it. Ludo, cludo, and mousetrap were in cupboard.
They are not mutually exclusive you know.Glad I've never been bothered with football. Life must be SO boring if you actually get pleasure from watching it, it's just a waste of time... Better than turning to drugs though I suppose
I like board, card etc games but hubby won't play them so the only time I ever did, usually Scrabble, was when we had my Mum round at Christmas but that stopped a few years ago and with her having dementia and being in a care home it'll not happen anymore.Board games usually lead to an argument,
Not watched telly since leaving home for Spain on 14th December, haven't missed it at all as I like doing my logic puzzle books instead. Won't be at home again until mid-Feb so enjoying the 'peace' from all the TV crap and adverts. Not had telly on for 3-4 days.
Me neither, I know there's some fat bloke in it but that's it.I think I'm one of the few that have never seen Gavin n Stacy
Not sure you can say fat bloke anymore. Perhaps rotund could be consideredI like board, card etc games but hubby won't play them so the only time I ever did, usually Scrabble, was when we had my Mum round at Christmas but that stopped a few years ago and with her having dementia and being in a care home it'll not happen anymore.

Not a fan of comic opera then?My house is a Footie and G&S free zone.
Yeah we believe you, you're taking the Mikado?I've been a Japanese nobleman, I'll have you know.
Paul Potts film? Not a fan of comic opera then?
A misreading of Cyberyacht's post.Paul Potts film?
The team I support seems to have discovered this. They are not mutually exclusive you know.
James Corden (Gavin) played Paul Potts (Britain's Got Talent winner) in a film, hence my reference and the Mikado.A misreading of Cyberyacht's post.
I thought that a man of his humour would be a G&S afficionado.
Turns out I was right
Ah, got it!James Corden (Gavin) played Paul Potts (Britain's Got Talent winner) in a film, hence my reference and the Mikado.
Not a fan of operatic productions myself but love Rhydian Roberts' voice.
