help! on board charger trouble

Hello there
we are new to motorhoming and have just bought a fantastic 1998 Mobilvetta top driver 52 but the on board battery charger has packed up. The name and spec have worn away. We have no idea what it is and where to get a replacement. Can anyone help?
We have no manuals or instructions for any of the systems in the motorhome. Has anyone got spare copies or knows where to get them from?

sorry cant help with the manuals/instructions but i just upgraded my charger with a Amporor 25amp 3 stage charger.....£104
the original was 12amp max output

your charger is possibly nothing more than a 12v power supply which wont fully charge your leisure battery anyway.

chances are a genuine replacement charger wont be any cheaper if not more.

Have to agree with Pappa - don't get too hung up on replacing the original like for like.
It will have been chosen by the manufacturers on price, not performance.
Do some research and find the best you can afford as a replacement - it is just a battery charger - not part of the van.
