Hi, we have been renovating our 32 year old motorhome and she is coming along nicely, but we need to replace the door and can’t seem to find one anywhere. Apparently the door is arched at the top and square at the bottom which makes it rare, does anyone know where we might be able to find one. Any help would be very welcome, I’ve put some photos on to show the original.

Contrary to what has been said there are plenty out there, it’s just knowing where to look.
Get onto Talbot Express breakers on Fleabay and message the sellers. Most advertise one part with the message to contact them re required parts. It saves them listing all the parts

Lincolnshire,
Can I just confirm with you all the van is a Fiat Ducato but on the side it says Eldis 320 auto quest when I’m looking and asking I’m describing it as Fiat Ducato 14 as that what it says on the log book is that correct? I wondered if I’m confusing people when I’m asking?

The front cab doors are fiat .
The habitation door is Eldis 320 autoquest.

only the tin part of the body is anything to do with Fiat

To answer your other question, not my area, but a google search for "caravan body repairs" brings up several options with reviews

That’s a bargain that Nanniemate has posted. Forget about Fiat or Autoquest! You need a door for late 80’s early 90’s Fiat/TalbotCitroen/Peugeot motorhome. They are out there😁.
Sorry Alfa Romeo also had a model but it’s hobby horse poo!

We had a Gobur folding Caravan with a door like that. Give them a call and they may be able to help. They are located in Milton Constable in Norfolk, good luck.

Quackers is a member's campsite at Old Sodbury just off the M4.

(If you have a query, try clicking the search button, top right-hand side?) :giggle:
Julesac85 WARNING........must like 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚they are the best, 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷is usually flowing, educational for the crafty, and usually really nice people , some very experienced and happy to share and help with newbie problems, they don't even laugh (well not to loud) when you mention the first time out, that you filled the water tanks and left the drain valve open so when you got to location you had no water  there are few rallies/meets on the calendar why not book on one , if your van is road legal and you have a loo you can manage the rest, Mr & Mrs Quackers are great hosts and the grass is lovely walks and pubs nearby and they are not too fussy about who they let in , Looking forward to my next visit

I’ve just got a message back from the seller to say he has a door, I suggest you do some serious measuring or even trundle across to him and see if it’s suitable.
He’s in Leominster
Good luck

They measure the door like this as it is a second hand part. Seldom do they know what it’s from.

they measure the door from the outside.

the outside off the frame to the out side of the frame. That’s width and height.

we have a single door and we’re used to a stable door as we have dogs .

we found the solution was a board high enough that they could not jump over it and the width of the opening that includes any space either side of the door. Inside…
then applied a thin carpet both sides and it looks quite neat from any direction Now and does the job.

when not required it stored under a seat cushion.
