Hello My Romarome C15 was dropped off in the road by R A C recovery after the rear shock absorber jumped out of its socket.
Need a spring Compressor tool but they are like hens teeth. Can I buy or hire one please. Have contacted a Citroen dealer who is so helpful and kind. He has one which is out on load at the moment. But I am unable to move the van as it is only inches from the road at the back. This is plan B as my Romahome is my only transport and need to use it as soon as possible. I live in Cornwall. Thank you so much Derek

I've just googled it and can see it's quite a specialist bit of kit.

The only suggestion I can think of is there an owners club for C15's that would maybe have one available to hire

im a not so newbie
Jack up the body and wedge some timber between the axle and body.

At least you would be able to move the van.

What is special about the Citroen spring compressor as opposed to a regular spring compressor used when fitting shock absorbers?
