Hells teeth 5 degrees in Spain

Woke up this morning in Lebrija it was only 5 degrees!!!
Now in Badajoz on the aire, brilliant sunshine but only 10/12 degrees.

Always fascinates me that Teruel is only 140km from Valencia yet the winter temp can get down to -20ºc. I know it is at 900m+ above sea level though.

I left the aire in Teruel City on Saturday morning and it was 3 degrees with a warning of ice. The temperature didn't rise above 5 degrees until I got close to Navajas.

He's not on the med , he's inland and higher up. I'm on the med 22° here just now and I think it was 12 overnight

6 miles, is just a short bikeride away and 135m isn't much of a mountain.
I live nearly half of that above sea level, here in the flatlands of East Anglia.

It used to be close enough to the Med for me in the good old days!

Obviously makes a difference though as I've not had it that cold on the coast. . My heating was last on in France, and I've been in t shirts and shorts.

That's why I stick to the coast lol.

We're off on 27th by the tunnel. All long stay sites booked, first long stay at La Bella Vista, Manilva. Not stayed there before but looks good.

Bella vista is very good ideal for walk to the marina in La duquesa.
Meson del-a Castillo is worth a visit ignore the menu board they have outside as it would have you believe this to be a crappy food place .

Every time, except on one occassion, that we've stopped at Teruel it's been bleedin freezing with snow a couple of times too. Dead handy stop though for Al Campo, lpg and cheap squirt
