Looking to buy my 2nd motorhome, the forums look like a archive of information. Trying to decide between a tag/8.8m and a 8m MH. Landed on the forums through a link to black waste tanks after doing some due dil into drive overs for black waste as the larger MH has a fixed toilet. Happy and safe travels to all.

Within the UK/EU dumping the contents of a loo cassette is fairly easy.
Most campsites have an elsan dump facility.
Which if you want to, you can visit every day.

Dumping a tank of black waste however is a lot harder to do.
Bigger campsites that have American RV's visiting should have a black waste facility.
But you may be saving up a week or more of waste, as they are few and far between.
(I think someone may have made a map with Black waste dump facilities)

Personally I would not be going for an 8.8m, tag axel, with a black tank.
Too long, too many wheels, too difficult to empty.
But each to their own.

As an aside, my parents bought a house where the previous owner had a big MoHo with a black tank.
They had built a special manhole in the drive with access to the septic tank, just for the black waste, as they found it impossible to find anywhere locally to dump it.

(A facility I found very useful during the Pandemic, when camping on my mothers drive for 6 weeks. I had to flush it with several paddling pools of water to get it operational again.)
