Waiting collection.
Just introducing ourselves to the group. We are new to this and currently looking for our first motorhome. So far this site has been a goldmine of useful information, tips, and tricks. We appreciate all the contributions from the community and look forward to learning more as we embark on our motorhome journey.
We hope we have narrowed down the search to our third van ;), which is looking like a Roller Team Pegaso 590. Sub 6m long, 4 seats, and a good size bed. I am 6'4" so headroom and bed size is a big factor for me.
Only problem so far is the drivers leg room on the 2018 model is a bit tight. Van fitted with the FASP. automotive seats seem to have this problem. All the ones we tried with these seats were tight. Looks like the newer models have Aguti seats fitted which seem to have more legroom.
Our search continues, and I am sure we will be asking many questions on the relevant forums on this site.

You've read threads here on payload, haven't you?

...and, by the way, welcome to the fun!

Dealers seem to think in terms of "pay loads" i.e. their profits rather than payload! I can point to a van currently advertised for sale that likely has zero payload at 3.5 tonnes!!

Hi Jon, yes we have (y). It is an eye opener for newbies and something that we may not consider when starting to look.

Our friend who is already a member on here has been very good at drilling this into us as well.

Good.

We're relative noobs as well, but thankfully read enough threads here to come across the issue!

Have fun finding your MH.

As a Roller Team owner, once I got all the niggles ironed out, been a good van, welcome to the fun side

Hi and welcome to the Fun, We have a 2018 Pegaso 590 and I'm 5ft 11 and I agree the fasp seats are a little bit tight on legroom, however the 2018 models do have a 750 kg payload , the later models loose about 100kg off this due to skirt lockers and floor lockers etc but still adequate for 2.

Hi and thank you. We haven't yet worked out when they changed the seat fitment from fasp. It is a real shame as it is the only thing letting it down. No good if I can't drive it. 😒

I found that by raising the seat on the height adjusters it helped, my son who is 6ft 3 says he can sit in it quite comfortably.
Oh and welcome from Sholing.

Do you not have a chauffeuse?

Sound like a perfect excuse to have a tipple when you like!👀

Hi Bazzaware, looking through paperwork does not include seat detailing, I will look in handbook later

The dealer is going to try to fit a different swivel plate to see if that helps. We are going to try again at the weekend. 🤞
