Given OP's avatar I was going on a late noughties model so probably Truma but ................ Gail-forceNeed to know type of heating Truma or Alde.
As its OK on gas don't panic as it will work better on gas and be cheaper to run.

Hi, it’s the truma combi E … the red light is flashingWhat model of boiler do you have?
If Truma Combi 4e/6e does the control panel show it should be working on leccy but not? If so, it could be the electric elements have failed.
Did the power trip before you noticed it had stopped working on leccy?
Nope, still getting power to all other stuffHave you checked the breaker on the hook-up post? Running two bits of kit with heating elements in may well have tripped it.

Do you have a window above the boiler exhaust outlet? If so, is it fitted with a safety switch to cut boiler operation if it is open?
We've found that as well particularly if it's not been used for a few weeks.Resetting the main control panel for the Moho sometimes un-confuses the Tr(a)uma controls - if this doesn't work then it looks like one of your 240v heating elements has failed
Nope, gas working fineI thought the red light flashing was flame failure when on gas.
I tried the on and off and that hasn't worked... I'm afraid it's going to be a trip to our local moho garage, he's really good, knows his stuff, and is cheap! Thanks for the helpWe've found that as well particularly if it's not been used for a few weeks.
Our Sargent control panel has a "shutdown" function that kills all power (12v ) and turning the Truma panel rotary switch to 0, turning off the water heater and space heater 230v switches, placing in shutdown, waiting a minute or two and then restarting everything has worked for us.
Did you also check the couple of possibilities in post #11 above?I tried the on and off and that hasn't worked... I'm afraid it's going to be a trip to our local moho garage, he's really good, knows his stuff, and is cheap! Thanks for the help
