Headlights- To stick or not to stick?

Can you/Do you apply headlight deflection to these lights for travelling in France/Spain/Portugal?

The reason the Left hand drive vehicles don't need them is that they are set to dip flat, not to the right. The housing on the lights in the OP can be adjusted to dip flat by loosening 2 screws and taking one out, turning the light and tightening again. Access is generally from below on A class vans

I know people say about flat dipping but it's not what the hella catalogue says and shows in their beam patterns.
