has anyone got one of these

Sadly it is still for sale common name for this very high tech item is a The popup buttered toaster

the boys in the workshop call it the paka toaster ideal for a day out.

bread goes inside. Heated by solar and buttered both sites in case you drop a slice. Butter side down as they say.

designed to look like a photocopier because every slice will be the same.

however if the sun is shining you can get a toasted slice every 3 seconds. No sun and you tip on the included lighter fuel set fire to it and toast your own while you wait for the sun..
Does it do double sided toasting?

Does it do double sided toasting?
For sure and applies butter to both sides just as it pops out.

well so I am told.

the deluxe version also spreads jam again woefully to both sides.

It is a solar generator has loads of connections including 240v so you could run your motorhome off it. If only you could get one.

I thought perhaps it was a much better photocopier so those who like to take photos of parts of their bodies after the office party could get one showing more than the more usual photocopy.

Well pay pal paid my money back to my account this morning bloody chinese !!!!!!!!

looks to me like a waste of time & money...
no matter where it is placed some of it will always be shaded unless the sun is direct overhead for poss 2 hours a day

Currently in Almeria region of Spain towing mine behind my eBike.....it's charging more than I need...the coffee maker facility has been replaced, but the toaster is still only doing one side...
My Garmin didn't charge to 100% last night which is a bummer....still as this is only a trial run it doesn't really matter....
Having trouble with iPlayer, but BBC Sounds is good...picking up new wheels at Almeria Airport on Thursday...this should aid the unit stability....more later....running out of Phone battery....forgot to click Aux button...Some tester eh?
