Do autoglass still operate without premises ? Work on your drive

Autoglass came to our house for a windscreen replacement last year. We had a lorry kick up a large stone on the M25 on our way to the Eurotunnel. I didn't want to change my crossing so got a kit from Halfords to try and repair/stop cracks from getting worse. So contacted Autoglass on our return.

AutoWindscreens have just fixed 2 small chips on mine, bloody amazing job. The technician who came to the house had 30 years experience, what a result, great service and a good chat about the old ‘classics’ … highly recommend them.
Had to ask where the original marks were.

Is it AutoWindscreens you highly recommend or the amazing technician who attended. Like to think all their technicians would be as good, but IMO that would be a big ask!

Oh Poppycamper, dorry that was ambiguous, both really, the overall service was spot on. You know when things just go as they are supposed to , people on time, text communication, technician calls you to update you on eta and talks you through process… seemed like a dream!

I remember using the wife's nail varnish to stop a crack spreading many years ago. It seemed to work. Recently had the internal mirror drop off the car windscreen astonishingly it meant a new windscreen with mirror attached. Carried out by Autoglass on the drive excellent service.
