Had an excellent night , then no electricity!

it's a 110amp battery so will need the full 24 hours, thanks. we know that charger works ok as it is used t charge the KTM battery if it has been stood too long. Keep the van in storage so have to keep going back and forward. I usually hear the fan on the charger going, not sure if this only indicates it is on or that it is working. I was a good nurse, but am a crap electrician when it gets beyond changing a plug or a fusethough I did rewire part of my house and the electric board passed the instalation and failed the bit the electrician had done
Not too good with auto electrics. have checked all the fuses near the battery boxes. all ok so far. can see a fun few days on the horizon.

Right update so far @pappajohn and anyone else looking in.
Have taken 1 leisure battery home and charged it still showing as charged. Today took it back and it keeps blowing the fuse next to the battery, should we have disconneted the solar before trying it and if so how? John now phoning a battery man as we need it in a couple of weeks time. not sure when he can look at it though probably next week.

Update for anyone watching @pappajohn thanks for the advice
under skirt battery kaput and had caused a short which knocked out the big 50amp fuse next to the battery. All now up and running with one battery internal 110 amp which fortunately had survived the experience. All set to go now in a few days, well once I put everything back.
Wonder if we could carry a 10L box of wine in the external battery box, pity we don't like white, it would be well chilled.

Buy some Greek red wine, the only way to drink it is when it's chilled.

I got a gift of a bottle of greek wine when I retired, can't remember what it was but tasted like port, I love port, and just as potent.

Had a very useful chat with VanBitz on the phone this morning. They suggested the following~

1. Charge batteries for 12 hours

2. Disconnect the two batteries (power and neg terminals) on batteries

3. Use a multi meter, check voltage both should read over 12.7

4. Re check voltage after another 12 hours. Reading should NOT. Be below 12.5

5. If less than 12.5 battery/batteries will need to be replaced.

Colyboy
So what was the outcome of all this in the end ?
