Ok, so some of you may remember my near 100k loss last year to a fire of my motorhome that I had for 3 days.

Well, there was a lot of chat in that thread about insurance renewals. etc.

So, today was insurance renewal day.

Loss was 96k

I had 10 +years for full no claims,
3 points for going to fast on her majesty's highway..
1 glass claim 2 years ago (not on no claim)
54 years old couple both on policy.
Valued van at 80k

Last years premium including breakdown was £569..

what would guess at this years premium?

I'll let you know later. Anyone that gets it to within £5 will win £10 to their charity of choice.

What's your charity Riverbankannie
If you were really serious, and I don’t mind if just for fun, I would choose Caring at Christmas. However it is for Bristol so maybe you would want to select something nearer home?

So not for 'Oops' then, (£824) I was fairly close!

Must've missed a previous thread, van £96k valued at £80k after 3 days?
What was the payout?

Surely it'd have been like-for-like within that timeframe?

I too would have expected that, I wonder if they gave a reason to haganap for lowering the value after just 3days, (I thought, from reports on here that M/H's were going up in value), yet adding 50% onto his premium despite having 10yrs NCB (protected?)
