We normally use CAMC or private campsites, where possible with serviced pitches which also include a grey waste drain. Having got bored of repeated trips with a bucket to empty the tank, I bought a set of 4 of those Colapz waste pipes. The boss wasn't impressed, thinks I should have bought a longer grey pipe, and she might have a point - all 4 only just reached the drain on the last serviced pitch, and I realised that they are not long enough to empty at home, which we have had to do a couple of times already :-(.

So, for those who use waste pipes, what length is best (or do I just need to buy another 4 - expensive - Colapze ones)?

Motorhome Rule 26a. Both waste and filler hoses are always 1m shorter than you need.
I can relate to that - have already had to also buy a second fresh water hose (plus connector to join then together)

Thanks. By the sound of yours and others suggestions here, sounds like I need two more single pipes then...
Evidently, 2 is the magic number :)

My solution is copied from a German mh I saw in Spain some years ago. Basically it's 1.25m lengths of black corrugated waste pipe joined together with threaded hose joiners from CAK tanks. I have 9 lengths in a bag which stores under the bathroom in our Coral. Push fit onto the waste outlet pipe. Reaches any on site waste point I've ever used. Just to be flash I've also got an RV slinky hose support which really is worth the money to get a steady gradient out and eliminate any nasty surprises when dismantling!
